We are now accepting applications from traders for stalls at Penn Festival 2012. Please contact us at info@pennfestival.com if you are interested in a pitch.
We also have a limited number of free pitches available for people willing to run free workshops for kids. We are happy for you to sell your products provided your workshops are free and entertaining and run over the weekend. Penn Festival
2011 saw the first ever Penn Festival, an intimate, family friendly boutique music festival over 2 days with camping in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside.
We had some great bands (2011 lineup), nearly 2000 people came along, had a good time, and said some nice things about us (comments 2011). We got ourselves nominated for 3 awards in the UK Festival Awards. It was hard work, sure, but the main thing was, we enjoyed doing it. Actually, we loved doing it. And people asked us if we would do it again. So we are.
Penn Festival 2012 will take place at the same lovely venue on 7-8 July 2012. Only this time, it’s going to be even better with even more going on for everyone.
We have some top bands lined up to play on our bigger, main stage, food from some of the area’s best caterers, and a bar with a full range of beers and wines. We’ve got free kids creative workshops, a disco tent and even a silent disco for those who just don’t want to stop partying.
We have more music on our big Top Tent stage in the beer tent and Bigtopmania (Camp Bestival, Glastonbury etc) running the free kidzone where there will be a circus tent with circus skills workshops, crazy bikes, crazy inflatable’s, trapeze workshops, family circus shows, big balloon disco, big bubbles ( with the kids inside them), stilt walkers,and clowns.
There will be a Big Bear walkabout, African drumming workshop, Hula Hoops, diabolos, plate spinning, devil sticks, tightrope walking, slack lining, toddlers play, balloon twisting, coconut shy and side show games. All for free.
We will have hot showers in the camping area. What more could you possibly want?
Well, be prepared because we have a few more little surprises up our sleeve!
